During a cordial evening, S.H.A.T led for most of the game, and were the only team to gain bonus robot points for some beautifully executed ‘castanet claw-work’ by Mr Steve, but it wasn’t enough. Team Bingo Wings surged ahead with an astonishing Tower of Strength performance from Miss Emily, clocked at over 40 minutes (something she puts down to her job as a professional Statue of Liberty living sculpture on Princes Street, Edinburgh) and with canny joker play, the Bingo Wings ran out clear winners. Mr Mark (Bingo Wings) exclaimed from the winners’ podium: “By Gad sir, that was a damn close run thing. Our victory rests squarely on the deltoids of a mere slip of a gal.”
